All bookings, apart from studio hire, must now be done online via www.emmaspoledancing.co.uk, (click Book Online).  We have a 4 hour cancellation policy for group classes & private lessons, again this can be done online.  Courses and special events are non-refundable. 

Private lessons require a £10 deposit, again via our online booking system.  The rest is due in cash on the day.

Health and Safety: 

All students and instructors are completely liable for their own actions.  As in all sports there is a risk of injury, including but not limited to bumps, bruises, falls, muscle strains and sprains.  Emma’s Pole Dancing will not take any responsibility for damage or accident to yourself or others, particularly where people have failed to follow the instructor’s advice, or where you have taken instruction off any other person other than Emma’s Pole Dancing Instructors.  Instructors cannot spot or watch everybody in a group lesson simultaneously, and if you feel that you need extra help you must wait until they are available.   

All of the instructors will give the full safest way of each action you will be learning and practicing and the guidance to perform each individual move.  Emma’s Pole Dancing advises not to take Students must not be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs whilst at the studio.  

General: 

Abuse will not be tolerated at Emma’s Pole Dancing to any of the instructors or other students.  If this occurs you will be asked to leave the premises and your money will be lost for the class. Emma’s Pole Dancing will not tolerate any disruption of classes, including attitude towards Instructors and other students, or making other students feel awkward. 

On arrival & signing in, you agree to these terms and abide by them at all times 

• Studio Hire is £30 per hour and must be paid for before you start.   

• You should have your own, appropriate, insurance.  Emma’s Pole Dancing will not take responsibility for any injury or harm on or off the equipment, and to others with you, during your Studio Hire, unless we are negligent. 

• The studio must be left in the condition you found it.  Any mats, straps, clothes and dishes must be put away.  Please do not leave personal belongings in the room when you leave. 

• Please do not get any aerial equipment down yourself.  If you inform us of what you need beforehand, we can arrange for the equipment to be down before you start.  Our instructors cannot leave a class that they are teaching to swap the equipment for you. 

• Please do not alter the settings on the poles yourself.  If you inform us that you need a pole on spin, we can arrange that for you before you start.  Our instructors cannot leave a class that they are teaching to do this. 

• Do not hang your own equipment without express consent from the management of Emma’s Pole Dancing.  Anybody altering, removing, replacing or rehanging our equipment without prior agreement will be banned from using the studio unsupervised.  This is for Safety and Insurance reasons. 

• Mirrors or any equipment used must be replaced if broken 

• Flooring must not be scratched or dented; heels are allowed to be worn, but no metal heels. It is laminate flooring so rubber or plastic heels will be fine.  

• Please remove all jewellery before you begin, as it can damage the equipment.  

• Everyone attending your studio hire must sign into the building at the front desk. 

Additional Terms and Conditions for Private Instructors 

• If you wish to teach or instruct other people during the studio hire you will take full responsibility for their actions while you are instructing and your own actions on and off the equipment. 

• Any disclaimer you have for clients using your studio hire time must be taken into your own hands; Emma’s Pole Dancing will not take responsibility for any injury or harm on or off the equipment and to others during your Studio Hire.  This includes but is not limited to trips, slips or falls.  

• If your intentions are to hire the studio purposely to teach other clients in any manner a copy of your Insurance/Public Liability to be provided to Emma’s Pole Dancing before you begin. 

• You agree to the fire safety procedures and will announce them to your clients during your studio hire, this includes fire exits and call points. 

• Any first aid given to any client during your studio hire will be taken into your own hands and reports must be done yourself. Emma’s Pole Dancing will not take responsibility for this.  

• If you do not wish to hire the studio under these terms, and give less than 4 hours notice the full studio hire price is to be paid to Emma’s Pole Dancing.
